Foundational verse: Colossians 2:2-3 “…that their hearts may be encouraged, having been knit together in love, and attaining to all the wealth that comes from the full assurance of understanding, resulting in a true knowledge of God’s mystery, that is, Christ Himself, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.”

Women in Bloom, the Women’s Ministry of EastPointe Bible Church exists to equip women of every age and season of life to live their lives honoring the LORD Jesus Christ through:

Motivation: 1 Peter 4:10-11 As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. Whoever speaks, let him speak, as it were, the utterances of God; whoever serves, let him do so as by the strength which God supplies; so that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belongs the glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Power source: John 15:5 “I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.”

Faithful Men

2 Timothy 2:1-2 1You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. 2The things which you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, entrust these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also. "Faithful Men" is a bi-monthly session, formed by Pastor Jim, which takes a group of men through a series of studies focused on the word of God.

Using the Bible, a systematic theology, other references, and study questions, this group will commit to learning about the great doctrines found in Scripture, such as: Christology, Soteriology, Ecclesiology, Eschatology, Justification, Sanctification, Glorification, Anthropology, Angelology, The Attributes of God, Heaven/Hell, Church Order and Discipline, Church Leadership and more.

Contact Pastor Jim or one of the deacons about this exciting class in which we gather together to study the whole counsel of God's word concerning those great truths that are foundational to Christianity. Commit to not only growing in wisdom and grace in the knowledge of Jesus Christ, but also to following Him as He would have us to.

1 Thessalonians 5:14 We urge you, brethren, admonish the unruly, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with everyone.

Ephesians 5:20-21 always giving thanks for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God, even the Father; 21 and be subject to one another in the fear of Christ.

Romans 12:1-2 Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.
