Kids and Parents Love Awana! Why do hundreds of thousands of kids attend Awana Clubs every week? Awana is fun! That’s the bottom line for most kids. Of course, they’re learning and growing while they’re having fun and Club meetings are brimming with life-enriched experiences for young people! All Awana leaders are trained to guide children through age-appropriate material. Clubbers learn that God is real, that He loves them, and that He has expressed that love through Jesus Christ. They also learn how to apply the truths of the Bible to their daily lives. In a world desperate for high standards of morality and ethics, Awana uses the Bible to teach children to honor God and their fellow human beings.
Three segments provide start-to-finish adventure in every club meeting: Game Time; Handbook Time; Large Group Time. Awana offers a series of clubs and programs, each to the needs of a particular age group or grade. Currently we are offering: Puggles – 2-3 years old; Cubbies – preschool boys & girls (2 yrs prior to Kindergarten); Sparks – Boys & girls in Kindergarten thru 2nd grade; Truth & Training – boys & girls in grades 3 – 6; Trek-Jr. High boys & girls; and Journey-High School boys & girls.
If you would like to know more about our clubs please call our church at 473-4004 Monday through Thursday. All Clubs meet on Thursday from 6:25 to 8:00 p.m., from mid-August through mid-May except TREK and Journey which meets on Tuesday evenings 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.
This is an opportunity for children ages 3 through preschool.
The children remain in the auditorium during the announcements, singing, offertory, and any drama events we may hold. During the Pastor’s sermon, the children are dismissed to another location in our church for age-appropriate worship.
A teacher and two helpers will lead the children through activities, singing, and a lesson. We use a curriculum from John Piper’s church.
We are teaching a new series titled, “He Has Been Clearly Seen”. This is a study for children on seeing and delighting in God’s glory
