The four-week membership class will meet on Thursday's at 6:30 p.m. in Room 109. The class will meet on July 12, July 26, August 2 and August 16. Join Pastor Jim in room 109 and get the basics for joining the church at EastPointe. Completing this class does not require joining afterward. Thursday Series - Roe V. Wade
Join us on Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. in Room 134for a timely and pertinent look at abortion and how it came to be in our country. In this five-part study, we’ll examine key historical elements leading up to, during and following the Supreme Court’s decision to make death for the unborn a constitutionally protected right. And of course, we’ll examine it all very biblically. See Pastor Keith for more info.
Living Water Prep - July 19
Join us on Thursday, July 19 at 6:30 p.m.We will assemble the gospel packets and attach them to the bottles of water we will be giving away at this year at the Circus Parade.

Parade Day - July 21
We will meet at the church at 7:30 a.m. to begin the Circus Parade Water distribution.
Free Hot Dogs & Snow Cones - July 21
The Przybyszewski's are opening their front yard (218 E. Main St.) on Parade Day for free hot dogs and snow cones. Come on out to help or just enjoy a hot dog and a front row seat for the parade. Contact Tanya P. for more information.
Men'sBreakfast - July 21

Attention EastPointe Homeschool Families
EastPointe Homeschool Connect (EHC) will meet 1st and 3rd Fridays from 9:30a.m.-11:00a.m. kicking off September 21st with the theme of"Nature: All things bright & beautiful". EHCRegistration Packet are available at theConnect Center, please complete and return to Alaina Chamberlain or Jennifer Vigar by September 1. A brief meeting will also take place in Room 109 immediately following church for theEHC caregiver on August 26th.
Wings of Hope, Women's Support Group - July 24 and August 14
Wings of Hope is awomen's support group that will be meeting once a month at EastPointe in Room 109. Ladies will be meeting on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. and the fourth Tuesday of each month at 1 p.m. See Mindi Strong, Nikki Gregory or LuAnn Drew for more information.

Grief Counseling – August 12
Waves of Life is a grief counseling group designed to help people navigate their grief in a positive way.Anyone dealing with any type of grief may attend: death of a loved one, divorce, loss of a pet, life changes,or anyone at any stage in the grieving cycle. Perhaps you are someone helping a friend or loved onethrough the grieving process. You are welcome, too. We meet the 2nd Sunday of every month from 2 - 3p.m. Snacks will be provided and free childcare will be available for children 0-12 years of age.

Our last directory was printed last summer but as you look around, you will see that we have new families, there have been weddings, and babies, kids who are now young adults and some just had scheduling conflicts last time. Maybe you got your picture taken last summer and you want to update your family portrait...anyone is invited to participate or participate again. Extended family and/or pets are welcome. Photography Dates: Monday, August 13from 2-9 p.m. and August 14 from 2-9 p.m.Every family will receive a free 8x10 portrait and will have the opportunity (with no obligation) to purchase additional portraits. You will also receive a free printed and electronic copy of our directory. Plan for the appointment to take about an hour. Strategic Planning, Outreach - August 19
Join us August 19 at 4p.m. to help us craft our plan for reaching out to the community!In May we gathered to learn more about long-term projects that we might take on over the next several years: Financial Peace University, Evangelism Teams, Rolling Chapel expansion, and Trunk or Treat. EBC Missions Team is searching for individuals to be part of an exciting new missions' trip in 2019! We aretaking our very successful Runners' Camp from Peru toHaiti in June of 2019. We are looking for adventurous individuals who would like to be part of this mission trip. There are several ways you can serve in this ministry: Youcan go and be part of the team putting on the camp or be a sender and support the team through donations of time, materials, work or money. Join us Sunday, August 5immediately following the morning service to discuss the trip and distribute team applications. If you cannot attend this meeting contact Mander or Luan Prater.
