Is EastPointe a praying church?
Pastor Jim has asked this question more than once. We do have a Sunday morning worship prayer ministry and you are invited to join.Every Sunday during the a.m. worship service, we have a two person team seeking God’s favor during the time of the worship in song, giving, prayer and ministry of the Word. You may seek a friend or spouse to join you and because we typically have a dozen to fifteen teams, your turn would only come up every twelve to fifteen weeks. Those involved say the time actually goes by quickly. This is a vital ministry that every EastPointe attendee can participate in. Over the next two to three weeks, we will be preparing the next four month schedule for the period starting October 7. If you are interested, please contact Larry Oden.Phone – 765-244-0614 or email – Larry@dka-online.com.

G3 Conference - Deadline Sept. 25
Jesus provided us the Great Commission as is recorded in Matthew 28:18-20. In many contexts, the mission of the church does not look like the mission of Christ. What is the mission of God? How is God reaching the nations? How is the Great Commission applicable to us in our present day? According to Revelation 5, one day around the throne of God above there will be a people from every tongue, tribe, people, and nation praising Jesus. How should we cultivate a missions culture in our local church?January 17-19, 2019 in Atlanta, Georgia — Georgia International Convention Center.Registration Deadline: September 25th = $179 per person for conference.Rooms are $119 to $169 per room based on double occupancy.Who wants to go? Questions?ask Mander or Luan Prater.
