The Lost and Found is now located at the Connect Center. It will be emptied of items on December 1st.
Wings of Hope, Women's Support Group - November 27 & December 11
Wings of Hope is awomen's support group that will be meeting once a month at EastPointe in Room 109. Ladies will be meeting on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. and the fourth Tuesday of each month at 1 p.m. See Mindi Strong, Nikki Gregory or LuAnn Drew for more information.
YAD Thanksgiving Celebration- November 18
All students in 7th - 12 grade are invited to our annual Young Adult Discipleship Thanksgiving Dinner. Join us on Sunday, November 18th at 5:30pm as we celebrate the goodness of God. Students need only to bring themselves, everything is provided at no cost.
Community Cares Project - Sign-Up by November 25
EastPointe is partnering withGrace Pointe Community Church for the Community Cares Project. Your $50 in Christmas gifts will goto a child of an inmate at the Miami County Jail. Participate in one of two ways: First, you can donate. Simply mark your offering envelope orgiveit to Theresa Rickard or Jennifer Archuletaand EBC will do the shopping. Secondly: you can do the shopping. Either way, sign-up now and in a few weeks get a personalized list for a child of a specific age. Shoppers should purchase at least the following three items: something warm (hat gloves or boots); something educational; and something fun. Spending limit $50 per child ensures all children receive similar gifts which are distributed to the children on Monday evening, Dec. 17th at the 4-H Fairgrounds. FREE Naloxone Training - November 26
EastPointe Christian Counseling together with Miami County Systems of Care is hosting a free Naloxone training session on Monday, November 26, 2018 7:00-8:00 pm at EastPointe Bible Church, 1540 East Paw Paw Pike, Peru, Indiana. Naloxone is also known as Narcan, which is given to someone who may have overdosed on an opiate drug in order to save his/her life. Free refreshments, free child care for up to age 12, and 1 free kit of Naloxone will be available for each participant. Outreach Movie Event: American Gospel - November 30
What is God’s motivation for saving man? One message appeals to your value, boosts your self-esteem, brings applause, and makes grace seem like it’s deserved. The other points to Christ’s value, crucifies our self-esteem, humbles us, and shows that grace is truly undeserved. Join us on November 30that 6:30pm here at EastPointe for a documentary that is avery positive and helpful examination of biblical truth. Annual Business Meeting - December 9
The elders along with the deacons have crafted two proposals to be voted on December 9th at this year‘s annual meeting. The first involves a change to our Constitution and Bylaws. Complete copies of the proposed changes can be obtained at the Connect Center along with FAQs, and a letter of explanation. Immediately following the service on December 9th we will ask parents to check their children out from children’s church and nursery and return to the auditorium where the meeting will begin at 12:15 PM promptly. A copy of the 2019 budget proposal has been placed in your mailbox, if you don't have a mailbox, you can pick up a copy at the Connect Center. We encourage everyone to submit suggestions and input as well as questions concerning the bylaws changes or the budget to any deacon or elder prior to the business meeting.
Runners' Camp: Haiti Edition - Learning Session 2- December 9
After morning worship service we will be having at training session for the 2019 Mission Team to Haiti: Runners Camp in Room 132. If you have already applied or want to learn more about the trip, come on and see what God has in store for you in the Mission field. It begins at 12:25 p.m.,bring your favorite beverages and join us.
