Memorial Day

The Church office will be closed on Monday, May 27 in observation of Memorial Day. The office will reopen on Tuesday, May 28 at 8:00 a.m. Thank you! Enjoy your holiday weekend!

Meet With the Elders

Turn Up the Light by meeting with the Elders on Monday, June 10th at 6:30 p.m. These open elder meetings have proved valuable to us but we need your input. Graduation Open House - Ansen Lancaster

You are cordially invited to an "Open House" to celebrate the graduation of Ansen F. Lancaster from Peru High School. This celebration is scheduled for Saturday, June 8th from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at EastPointe Bible Church. Please plan to drop by and share in fellowship with members of the Lancaster family and, especially, our first graduate - Ansen.

Women's Summer Bible Study

From Precept Ministries: "Influence: Living and Sharing a Life of Wisdom", an 8-week inductive study on mentoring, looks to God's Word for truth about growing mentoring relationships rather than building mentoring programs. Looking at both sides of the mentoring relationship, Influence works well as either a group or individual study. The eight lessons cover a variety of mentoring relationships and consider not only mentoring benefits but the importance safeguarding against potential problems as well. Meetings begin June 12th and run through August 7th on Wednesday evenings from 7-9 PM. Dress comfy and come ready for good discussion over God's Word. The workbook is $24.99 and you must sign up and turn in your money by June 2nd. This study is also available online at precept.org but you may order your book with the study group. Questions? Runner's Camp Planning Meetings

Coaches and coordinators need to attend the Runner's Camp Planning Meeting scheduled for June 9th, right after the morning service in room 134. Plan for a 20 minute meeting.

Baptism

Following Christ is the most important decision that can be made! Plan to join us on Sunday, June 23rd, as some of our people publicly declare their choice to follow Him. Contact one of the elders or the office if you or someone you know wants to be included in this day of celebrating Christ's work on our behalf.

Adult Sunday School Class

Soul'd Out Students & Parents

Soul'd Out Student Ministries has a new start time. Young people in Jr & Sr. High are invited to meet with us Sunday evenings (except most third Sundays) at 5:30-7:30pm as we worship God together. Our current series is called ANGER; Gift of God or Display of Depravity? See you then!

Children's Church Teachers Needed!

If you are a member and are interested in "Turning Up the Light" with some of our youngest learners, please consider joining the Children's Church Ministry. Teachers are needed to teach our 3-5 year olds God's Word during the Sunday morning service. Please see Shawna Lorenz for details.

Lake Ann Camp Fundraising

Are you attending Lake Ann in July 2013 and would like to participate in fundraising? You have an opportunity to make $26 for each box of Fannie May chocolate bars you sell. The deadline to have your information in the announcements is Wednesday at Noon. Please submit your announcement via the electronic form on the website or the printed form found in the hanging file outside the administrative assistant’s office. Place completed form in the administrative assistant mailbox or in the “In Box” in their office. If you have questions contact the office at 765-473-4004. Thanks!

Church Cancellations

When the weather threatens safe travel to and from church please check for cancellations on the EBC website. WFRN and WARU may also be notified however the Website and the Weather Update phone line are your best options for service cancellation information. Thank you.

Get Your Cans to the Pop Machine Hallway!

Thanks for bringing your aluminum cans for recycling. The cans are being collected in the pop machine hallway, across from the women's restroom. The total amount redeemed to help with LA Summer Camp 2013 is $140.99. For more information please see Rachel Bailey or call her at 765-469-5678.
